Okay so my sister's blog said that everyone who read her blog had to go to their my pictures files and post the 3rd picture from their 3rd folder in there. It is nice to get an explanation of what it is and when you took it, ect. This particular picture was inspired by a photography book that I was reading at the time. It said to grab your camera and take 30 pictures of your house and inevitably you would find something interesting or stating something about you or your house. I took a lot of pictures and scrapped most of them since it just showed my crazy house with no pictures on my walls (I have lived here nearly 2 years and I haven't settled in enough to decide where my pictures should go on my walls, I must be neurotic!?). This picture is of my bathroom bottles. I think it is cool how I only chose to "see" blue through my camera. I like the characters of the bottles that I have collected. (c:

Christmas Blues and Reds and Greens.
I have so much to say and not nearly enough time to write it all out. I finally dragged my Christmas decorations out and decided to put about half of them up. I have a white tree with white lights and 100 cheaply made plastic shatterproof ornaments of varying shapes to choose from. This year I did red, green and silver ornaments. It looks okay. I keep promising myself to buy decent ornaments next year. I don't know why it seems like so much work to put up decorations but it does to me. I swear I am becoming more and more of a humbug every year (is this why older people don't even put up a tree anymore after all those Christmases?). I think part of that is because I have no family or friends around to decorate for. I am not excited for Christmas at all. I think I know pretty much what I am getting, and I don't have any Christmas parties to go to. All Christmas will mean to me is that I will be very tired this year since I will be working extra long hours the few days before. Sad. Does anyone have a prescription for the Christmas blues? Nah, I will just paint on my smile and ask, "Would you like a donut with that?"
I finished The Host Sunday night. It was good. I liked the fact that the main character ends up with the guy that I would have chosen. I have found that in so many movies and books the girl ends up with what I would define as the wrong boy; but I have to shake my head and say that it is her choice. Heck I ended up with the wrong boy on one occasion myself. Who am I to judge?
So Wayne is registering for classes. He is going to take an English placement test today to see if he can skip the beginners English class. He is striving to study math so that he can take Calculus instead of Pre-Calc. He worries about if he will do well in school. I know that he will do just fine. He is a smart cookie. I convinced him to take Psychology as his social science (surprise, surprise?), I told him that he would have a personal tutor/study mate.
